Are you ready to bowl your way to a good time? Forget about those heavy balls and stuffy bowling shoes…at Henry Dorrbaker’s, we’re all about duckpin bowling, where the only thing that matters is the fun you’re having.

What is Duckpin Bowling?
Duckpin bowling is a fun twist on traditional bowling that’s perfect for everyone! The lanes are smaller, the pins are shorter, and the balls are light enough to fit right in your hand.
HOW TO PLAY THE GAME
Step One: Get a Grip
Pick up a duckpin ball. It’s smaller and lighter than regular bowling balls and has no finger holes. Hold it comfortably in the palm of your hand, making sure you’ve got a solid grip.

Step 2: Set Your Aim
Position yourself at the start of the lane. Focus on the head pin (the one front and center) as your target. That’s your main aim to increase your chances of knocking down the most pins.
Step 3: Roll the Ball
Step forward with smooth momentum, bending your knees and releasing the ball gently down the lane. Don’t worry about speed, accuracy wins the game. Remember: no overhand throws and keep it low!
Step 4: Scoring
A strike (knocking all pins down in one roll) gives you 10 points plus the total from your next two rolls.
A spare (knocking all pins down in two rolls) gives you 10 points plus the next roll’s score.
If you don’t get them all, your score for that frame is the number of pins you’ve knocked down.
Step 5: Have Fun!
With its quirky rules and playful vibe, duckpin bowling is designed for good times with good people.
