GOLF SIMULATORS IN BELOIT, WI: MEET THE RANGE AT HENRY DORRBAKER'S
Updated: 3 days ago
Golf season in Wisconsin always has to end abruptly because of one small problem: Wisconsin weather.
That’s about to matter a whole lot less.
The Range is coming to Henry Dorrbaker’s (HDB) in downtown Beloit, Wisconsin, bringing six state-of-the-art golf simulator bays designed for indoor golf, year-round practice, professional instruction and a little friendly competition.
And despite the name, you don’t need to know your birdies from your bogeys to get in on the fun. The Range will also feature interactive baseball, football, soccer, Zombie Dodgeball and other simulator games, giving everyone in your crew plenty of ways to play.
Six Golf Simulators and a Whole Lot More
At the center of The Range are six golf simulator bays featuring advanced simulator technology, creating a place to play and practice golf right here in Beloit.
Instead of putting the clubs away when temperatures drop, you can bring them inside and keep your game going. Work on your swing, challenge your golf buddies to a round or finally find out if that friend who talks a big game can actually back it up.
Looking for a little more competition? Golf simulator leagues are set to begin in January 2027, giving local golfers another way to keep playing throughout the winter. More league details are coming soon.
Not a golfer? Step up to the plate with baseball, test your arm with football, take your shot with soccer or switch things up completely with Zombie Dodgeball.
Each simulator bay will also feature ample lounge space, giving your crew room to settle in, hang out between turns and make more of your time together. It all adds up to another year-round option for families, friends and groups looking for indoor activities and things to do in Beloit, WI and the Stateline region.
Golfers can get serious about their swings. Everyone else can get serious about bragging rights.
Year-Round Golf with the Beloit Club Professionals
The technology inside The Range will be paired with expertise from The Beloit Club.
Year-round golf lessons and academies led by The Beloit Club golf professionals will give golfers the chance to keep learning and improving beyond the traditional Wisconsin golf season. Come one day to play a round with your buddies, then come back to put some real work into your game with a pro.
Wisconsin can keep the snow. You can keep swinging.
From The Range to Food, Drinks and More Games
The Range isn’t a standalone simulator facility. It’s directly connected to Henry Dorrbaker’s Pub & Play, which means your time on the simulator can easily turn into a full night out.
Grab some food and drinks, challenge somebody to duckpin bowling, hit the mini golf course or wander into the vintage arcade for another round of competition. Split a Jumbo Pretzel or Gutterballs, grab a Pit Stop Margarita or cold brew, then figure out what game is next.
Come for the golf simulators and stick around for everything else HDB has going on.
No need to call it after nine holes.
A New Way to Play Is Coming to Downtown Beloit
Construction is officially underway, bringing six golf simulator bays, year-round golf instruction and multi-sport entertainment to downtown Beloit.
Our game plan is to open sometime in December 2026. As opening day gets closer, we’ll share more about the simulator experience, games and everything you’ll need to know before you play.
For now, golfers can start working on that swing. Everyone else can start assembling the crew.
